:Sad Face: Here's one that made me sick to my stomach. I was in fourth position (5th seat- cjh034). Got AA. Raised to 450. Next guy goes all-in. The chip leader on the button calls. Went over the top of him all-in. He calls. Shorter stack has 66. The button has KK. The shorter stack catches a 6 on the flop. I'm thinking to myself, "well that sucks, but hey it's poker, I'll get the balance". Then what comes on the turn, you guessed it, a K. I almost put my fist through my monitor. Lol

Not as bad as mine today. around 40 people left in tourny, had a nice chip stack putting me in around 13th place out of 40. Got pocket Kings and raised 5x bb and someone called. Flop was K 9 9 giving me a full house... can you see where this is going? (PS: I was already beat at this point)

funny part was we both checked twice to river, me thinking I was slow playing a full house and him actually slow playing his quads. He released an all in at the end reducing my chip stack to 1/4th its original size and I immediately Phil Hellmuth called.

Chris..I have been on the short end of that same exact hand two months ago at a casino near where I live! It was played the same way. Sad thing is when he pushed all in..I even said outloud that the guy has quads..and I still made the stupid ass call!!

AO,

It probably won't make you feel better, but you were probably only just short of a two to one favorite to win that hand.

Here's a bad beat

As Ah

Seat 7 calls

Ad Ac Jh

Yeah, I was actually only slightly better than 65% overall preflop. That wasn't what really irritated me. What pissed me more was I was a 88%-89% post flop to win outright and 92% to win/tie the side pot.

btw SC, the numbers for your bad beat are absolutely unreal. Preflop you were an 83.3% fav. Post flop 99.9%. Post turn 97.7%. That's beyond unreal, just plain brutal. I feel for ya man.
